This past winter has been the strangest, and gentlest, I can recall. I keep wondering who stole Michigan's snow, and where they dropped it — apparently in a small town in Alaska.

Not that I'm complaining. My favorite seasons are upon us. I love Spring and Summer in Michigan. Tiny shoots poking out of the soil. Soft, colorful buds on all the trees. Here in our neighborhood, I'll watch the tiny goldfinches that come to my bird feeders gradually change from dull grey-gold to brilliant canary yellow. Mourning doves will build nests in the eaves, and wake me to their gentle cooing love songs. The deer will bring their fawns out of the woods to drink at our pond. As the weather warms, all of nature seems to rejoice. And the hearts of all who weathered another winter will feel lighter.

Spring also brings the release of QUINN, Book 1 in my 3-book romantic-suspense series for Grand Central's Forever imprint. Watch for QUINN in bookstores March 1, 2012.

JOSH, Book 2, will be released in October, with JAKE, Book 3, following in March 2013.

I really love these brothers and their fascinating family, and the warm, strong women who win their hearts. I hope you do, too.

As always, I hope that my books touch your heart in a very special way, helping you forget some of life's harsh realities while you lose yourself in the drama, the suspense, the awakening of love between very special people.
